Linda and Tony were married this weekend at Monaco Resort this weekend and I was lucky enough to be asked to provide their wedding photography. I’ve got to know Linda and Tony over the last few months, meeting with them on a few occasions and having a couple of practice sessions.
The day started at their beautiful home for a very quick photo session whilst Lasma, my assistant was covering the guests arriving at Monaco.
The ceremony was simple yet unique and very personal. We were given free reign to move around but I always keep the distraction to a minimum! The last thing the friends and family want to remember is me or the sound of my camera. After taking some family photos, we quickly went back to the couples’ home (their favourite place!) before returning to create some photographs around the resort.
The reception was held in the marquee at Monaco – its a great venue and the staff were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful and really seemed to be enjoying being part of the day. The guests got down to partying with a huge amount of enthusiasm: the dance floor was never empty and gave some great opportunities for photographs. And everyone enjoyed the “shoe” quiz. A brilliant idea!
